Our inspector, Fred, is an InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector CPI®. All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

Fred is a Certified Professional Inspector CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (www.NACHI.org)—which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.
Fred, as an InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspector CPI® was required to pass an inspector exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, is required to abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited continuing education courses each year in order to maintain his membership in good standing.
In order to become certified, Fred was required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems. Fred is a graduate of the SAIT Residential Home Inspection program and also the InterNACHI® School, the world's only home inspector college.

Fred is a Certified Professional Inspector and Professional Engineer (Civil). Fred has an extensive list of building inspection credentials including FLIR certified thermographer, a SAIT home inspection program graduate, WETT Inspection certification, and a journeyman's status in water damage restoration.

InterNACHI® will pay up to $25,000 (USD; maximum collective aggregate) for the cost of replacement of personal property lost (and not recovered, restituted, or insured) during an inspection and stolen by an InterNACHI®-certified member who was convicted of or pleaded guilty (or no contest) to any criminal charge resulting from the member's taking of the client's personal property. The claimant agrees that the exclusive venue for any action against InterNACHI® arising out of this Honor Guarantee is the District Court in Boulder County, Colorado. InterNACHI's Honor Guarantee is valid throughout the U.S. and Canada.
